Providing high-efficiency filtration solutions for multiple industries.

PTFE Filter bag:
A PTFE liquid filter bag is the last line of defence in chemical filtration. Made from pure polytetrafluoroethylene — felt or woven mesh — it fits the same size 1 and size 2 housings as our PP, PE and nylon bags, yet it will filter liquids that destroy every other media: concentrated acids, strong alkalis, aggressive solvents and hot process streams.
Why Choose an Acid Resistant PTFE Filter Bag:
Chemical compatibility is the whole point.
PTFE is inert to essentially every industrial chemical — sulphuric, nitric, hydrochloric and even hydrofluoric acid, strong caustic solutions, and the full range of organic solvents.
Where a PP bag swells and a nylon bag dissolves, an acid resistant filter bag in PTFE keeps its strength and its micron rating, run after run.
PTFE Ring, Welded Seam:
Bags are seam-welded with PTFE, never stitched with thread that would wick or fail in aggressive chemistry, and finished with a solid PTFE ring so every wetted part is the same material.
The media releases no fibres into the filtrate, which matters in pharmaceutical, electronic and high-purity chemical processes where a single stray fibre becomes a batch rejection.
Working Temperature and Housing Compatibility:
PTFE media holds its properties to roughly 240°C in liquid service, far beyond PP (90–100°C), PE (150°C) or nylon (140°C).
The practical limit is usually the housing and its seals rather than the bag — for hot concentrated chemicals you need a PP, PVDF or PTFE-lined housing, and our stainless steel housings are suited to neutral and mildly corrosive liquids at moderate temperature.
Tell us the liquid and the temperature and we will confirm the bag and housing combination together.
Applications:
Typical applications include PTFE filter bags for sulphuric, nitric and hydrofluoric acid service, caustic and bleach filtration, solvent and photoresist filtration, hot oil and heat transfer fluid, catalyst recovery, plating and pickling bath purification, pharmaceutical solvent recovery, and high-purity chemical polishing where nothing else survives.
