In automotive manufacturing, paper making and power generation, process liquids often carry oil contamination that a standard filter bag simply cannot handle.
The oil removal filter bag was developed for exactly this problem: a bag built on hydrophobic, oleophilic oil-absorbing felt — it takes up oil and repels water — with extremely fast oil uptake and an absorption capacity of 15 to 20 times its own weight, fitted in the same standard bag filter housings you already run.
How It Works：
The bag is built in multiple layers.
The outer surface layer consists of extremely fine fibres that capture oil through strong intermolecular attraction — oil droplets contact the fibre surface and are held there — while the deeper layers continue to intercept fine particles suspended in the liquid. Oil removal and particle filtration happen in the same pass, in the same housing.
Absorption Capacity：
The oil-absorbing felt media absorbs 15 to 20 times its own weight in oils, with uptake beginning the moment oily liquid touches the fibre surface — and because the media is hydrophobic, it ignores the water around the oil and stays working in water-based process liquids, sumps and oily wastewater.
In practice that means one size 2 bag does the work of many kilograms of loose granular absorbent — with no dust, no residue and nothing to shovel out of the housing afterwards.
Oil Removal vs Standard Bag：
A standard felt bag stops solids — and when the contaminant is oil, it stops working, because oil films coat the fibre and blind the media within hours.
The oil removal filter bag inverts the problem: its fine-fibre surface layer attracts and holds the oil instead of rejecting it, so where a standard bag fails in a shift, an oil removal bag runs its full service life.
